I'm a shaper/carpenter, based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. I started shaping with obeche wood in our carport back in early 2016. I then got into working with polyurethane foam and began shaping in a basement bay at a friends' house.
Surfing the waves in and around the area of Port Elizabeth, J-bay and Cape St. francis is where I refine my surfboards, and push the limits of my designs.

Every surfer wants a great surfing experience, and a customized board is the path to getting that magic feeling that every surfer is searching for. I shape boards that I want to surf, and I work hard to refine them to a point where I’m happy with the feeling under my feet.
A good board should last a lifetime, and that’s why I don’t believe in building cheap quality boards. Using the finest quality materials available to me, I aim to shape the best possible boards using my handcraft capabilities and hydrodynamics knowledge.
At the end of the day, my goal is to make well built boards that surfers enjoy surfing. That's all.
